Allowing my percussion students the advantage to play quality instruments is only fair. Students who work hard, deserve to use instruments that perform with ease, has a quality sound, and can be moved with ease. Our current drum was a donation from another school. Stuffed with newspaper to dampen the sound, this beast has seen better days! Replacement heads and hoops are simply not enough to bring this student line bass drum back from the dead. The current bass drum we have is dated back to the 1970's. Showing up to festivals and concerts with this things is embarrassing and sounds awful.
