The use of classroom technology is essential to 21st Century Learners. The need doubles, if not triples for English Language Learners. The tablets will be an invaluable resource to allow my students to access sites to assist with speaking, reading, and writing English. We have a few desktops in our class, but we need additional technology resources to support in - class and outdoor, science learning (we can't pick a desktop up and take it outside to take pictures and record scientific data). By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student engagement and ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. Even more, it will help them become very proficient in English. In this technology literate world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology!
