A whole new world! Middle School is definitely the place for creative thinking and miles and miles of patience. Our students are basically mid-size humans who are still developing their work ethic and finding themselves. They certainly keep you on your toes and their energy seem endless. Being the Art teacher in this pool of eager young people, I want to give them my best effort. I want to be able to provide them with the proper tools and materials that will help them experience the incredible world of the Visual Arts. The Arts help develop fine young people who will have greater appreciation of the world around them. It will help in honing their problem solving skills and creative thinking. The Arts will also encourage collaboration and promote empathy with the hopes of making this a better world. In my heart, this is why the Arts are important to have in our schools.
