Schools in New York City will be reopening this week, with the students returning a few weeks after. As a physical education teacher, I am the only one allowed to bring the students out into the yard for their mandated phys ed lessons. As masks are now mandatory, there's a need for my students to hear me. Masked voices do not carry outdoors. Having a portable, battery powered speaker system, will not only save my vocal chords, it will allow me to properly motivate my students and make their learning experience more effective.
