Your donation will help make stories come alive for students who are still discovering the world of literature. My students will be able to use the storytelling kits to physically manipulate the characters in the story in order to aid them in retelling some of their favorite read aloud stories. Using images of real things and people helps give them visual cues to use the new vocabulary they have learned and keeps them engaged. The language quickies will allow students to have short intense bursts of practice with a variety of skills that are vital to their reading growth! These will include phonics, comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, and vital language skills.
