The students are enjoying the bright blue bins in the classroom. They are a unique color that the school can identify as a set. I have been able to use them for a leveled classroom library for students to use. Students can go and find books that are based on their reading groups. The bins have kept all the books together so that they are not lost and so that the students know where to go to get independent reading books. \r\nThe clipboard storage I was able to get has helped keep the clipboards in a place where they will not slide out and can be easily accessed. Students used the boards daily so having an easy way for them to grab the boards and out them back was a necessity. \r\nHaving classroom storage options has been exciting for the students!","fullyFundedDate":1757266955877,"projectUrl":"project/book-and-board-station/9554551/","projectTitle":"Book and Board Station","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Aumsbaugh","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10073881_orig.jpg?crop=2160,2160,x0,y43&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1752030323702","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10073881"},{"teacherId":10073881,"projectId":9452997,"letterContent":"Having headphones for all the students at the start of the year has been amazing. I have noticed students are more engaged in online programs they work with daily. Students are also able to get to work right away which has increased learning in these programs. The storage bags have been a great way to ensure the headphones stay safe in the desks and are in working condition. The students enjoy having their own set of headphones to keep up with and use as soon as a working period begins. \r\nStudents are also learning to treat materials with respect and use them properly. This funded project has been a great way for students to demonstrate they are learning and remember that social skill. Students are remembering to use the headphones correctly so that they can be used daily.","fullyFundedDate":1754325320945,"projectUrl":"project/hear-we-go/9452997/","projectTitle":"Hear We Go!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Aumsbaugh","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10073881_orig.jpg?crop=2160,2160,x0,y43&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1752030323702","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10073881"},{"teacherId":10073881,"projectId":9457485,"letterContent":"My students were amazed when they saw the new thermal printer! They were so excited that they asked me if it was a sticker printer. We all watched as each paper printed out together in a string. I had many students volunteer to help me get the paper out of the printer and to pass out the stickers that I made.\r\nI have been able to use the printer and paper to create a writing checklist for the students' notebooks and a visual for how to select the correct books for a student's level. Students had never used a sticker anchor chart before. I taught them how to peel the back and stick it correctly in their notebooks. They loved the new skill and having the charts in their notebooks. They asked me all the time which new ones will I give them. \r\nI have used the magnetic notebook paper to make charts for the board. The current one I have up is a money chart students can reference when making change. \r\nI also used the magnetic stickers to hang a reward chart. Students can see the number of flowers they have earned by looking on the board. It made it easier to see and to use. \r\nI am looking forward to creating more visuals throughout the year. Student's are not only learning from the visuals but also learning independence with how to use the visuals in their notebooks.","fullyFundedDate":1753559229204,"projectUrl":"project/can-you-see-me-a-mission-to-provide-vis/9457485/","projectTitle":"Can You See Me? They measured out pretend seeds in farm animal paper cups, divided pizza on barnyard-shaped plates, and used Lakeshore Fraction Number Lines and Fraction Stax to visualize their math learning in new ways. The combination of party dĂ©cor and math tools created a vibrant, immersive environmentâand our students couldn't get enough!\r\n\r\nThey were thrilled when the boxes arrivedâsqueals of joy, curious questions, and lots of, \"Is this for us?!\" One student said, \"I am so excited to learn, I might cry!\" \r\n\r\nOur classroom was decked out in cow print tablecloths, animal balloons, and farm banners, transforming our space into a festive math farm. We even had farm animal keychains and stickers as fun keepsakes! These thoughtful details made the day unforgettable and kept students engaged from station to station.\r\n\r\nNext up, students are using the fraction flashcards and write & wipe boards to deepen their understanding of fraction equivalence, comparison, and simplification. They're also working on designing their own farm-themed math games to share with younger studentsâa creative way to reinforce their learning and build leadership skills.\r\n\r\nYour kindness made all of this possible. Something as small and simple as cardstock can truly be a game changer in a teacher's life, so thank you for not thinking my project was silly or too boring!
