The students at SFMS face many challenges throughout the school year. Supplies necessary to create a rich and diverse learning environment, are really hard to come by due to lack of funds. While the school provides students with their textbooks, everything else really falls on the teachers to supply. Supplies such as paper, scissors, markers, and crayons will allow students to enhance their learning by creating meaningful projects. Students don't get much of an opportunity to be artistic and show their learning in any other way other than tests and essays. These supplies would allow me to create projects that tap into students' kinesthetic learning. I highly believe in learning by doing so these supplies would allow me that opportunity.

About my class
