Three year olds are VERY opinionated about being independent! We work hard to teach skills for everyone to learn self help skills and to be independent in taking care of themselves to the best of their ability. We work on toileting skills such as pushing our pants up and down, sitting on the toilet and washing our hands after. We also work on using utensils to feed ourselves and using a straw to drink out of the milk cartons (without turning them over). By donating to this project, my students will have access to tools to assist them in safely and comfortably accessing all areas of the classroom. Students can become more independent and confident in their self help skills with the proper tools to support their learning.
