The light table and blocks will make a difference in my students' learning because they will be able to experience learning through play. My students are extremely active throughout the school day and the light table will allow my students to experience a calming activity that will increase their attentiveness. I focus on small groups in my classroom and this would be used as a great small group for my students. My students would benefit from social skills by learning how to share and cooperate with their peers as well as team building. The table will also be used during math and ELA instructional times.
