My music students learn daily through center work, cooperative learning, and group instruction. Having flexible seating options will allow my students the ability to learn and be engaged while learning. My students need cube chairs, wobble seats, and balance discs to aid in their learning during music class. Flexible seating has been shown to aid in student learning and improvement in student behavior. Students learn in many ways. Some students need sensory input while sitting, some students need different types of sitting positions, and some students need muscle support while working. By having cube chairs, wobble seats, and balance discs, my students will be able to be engaged in their learning and be successful in their learning.
