In order for my students to have the most optimal STEM education, we are in need of updated tools and resources. The financial impact of COVID-19 has hindered my school’s ability to purchase these necessary resources. My students require the use of headphones as part of their regular Language Arts and Math practice on Chromebooks in order to not cause disruptions to the learning experience of others. However, most of our headphones don’t work and students are unable to effectively use their Chromebooks. My students love our hands-on STEM activities, and because of how much they love them, we need new supplies to replenish those that are worn or broken, and to also provide them with new discovery and learning opportunities! By donating to this project, my students will have a more productive, fun, and diversified learning experience, which will in turn improve their academic performance. I love for my students to have fun in my classroom. I believe that when students have fun and are engaged, they learn more productively. These supplies will help me provide the education experience I wish to give my students, which is the education experience my students deserve.
