Our kindergarten has been working hard since September to read, recognize numbers and sight words, write, and soon add and subtract. We are a class of 30 with varied educational backgrounds. We have a home for the technology we are requesting. We are fortunate to have cabinets in our classroom to store our kindles if we are so fortunate to receive them. We have labs daily in which eight of the thirty students will be able to use apps suited for their level in both reading and math. We also have time throughout the day where students can use the kindles on a rotating schedule. We hope to one day have a Kindle for each student in our classroom. With the eight kindles we are requesting We will continue to work together to achieve first grade ready reading and math abilities and would benefit greatly from using the eight kindles to support our learning needs. Our class needs the immediate reinforcement and practice that the educational apps on the Kindle will give us. Our goal is to work together to be first grade ready. With the added technology to our classroom, we will get the opportunity to receive the immediate feedback that motivates us to work harder to achieve first grade ready skills.
