The use of headphones is almost a daily activity in my classroom. Using laptops and having headphones to hear and stay on task is a great way for students to be attentive. The headphones allow the students to maintain focus on the lesson at hand. It becomes difficult for students when they can't hear or stay focused because they hear everyone else's laptop made sounds while they work. When something goes wrong, students know that they must try to stay focused without disturbing others. They try to stay focused but its hard for some students. By having the Hamilton headsets, students will be able to avoid all of these problems and focus on increasing their learning! By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will help to increase their academic achievement. Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, and not whether their materials are going to work or not. Furthermore, being part of this technology literate world, any use of technology will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology!
