I have students with no access to technology outside of our school. These students crave the excitement of technology and the enrichment it can bring to them. The lack of technology in these kids lives is substantial! Some are immigrants, different family dynamics, lower income, and haven't had the benefit of using 21st century technology in their lives. Buy students currently only have one day a week that we have access to the computer lab for 1 hour and one day a week with shared iPads (most of the time only 1/2 of them are charged). This would be a start for our class to be able to explore the possibilities of technology and give them access to a wealth for information.
