Many of my students are lacking basic skills necessary to tackle the world of common core! Having the opportunity to use technology in the classroom would allow them to work on many of the math programs our district offers to them. One of the programs is Think Through Mathematics. TTM provides various levels of differentiation, explicit instruction, and unlimited access to LIVE teachers. This program is proven to increase math proficiency when implemented 90 minutes per week. Many of my students do not have access at home to technology, so by having these iPads in my classroom I can give students more opportunities to utilize the program. Having ipads is a great way to differentiate to meet needs of ALL my students!
