This project improves our students' lives at school because due to the rash of school shootings, we need a reliable way to communicate to each other if emergency situations arise! In our high needs elementary school, two-way radios are both highly beneficial and necessary components of school communications. The current walkies that we have do not hold a charge for a very long time. Our students deserve better devices that are reliable that we can use to keep them safe. Due to decreased funding, our school doesn't have the funds to provide quality walkies for communication. I want our students safe at all times!

About my class
