Every student learns differently. My goal is to be able to engage every student and connect math to their lives. These resources will help engage my students through stories and fun games. I am requesting many books from the Sir Cumference and Pythagoras series. These books take math concepts and tie them into fictional stories. The author connects the concepts with the real world to allow for better student understanding. In addition, using games and brain breaks gives learners incentive to stay engaged and provides students an outlet for a little break from the daily lesson. Games such as 'Smath, Quizmo, Absolute Zero, and Kerplunk help students enjoy practicing math concepts. Your donations to this project will provide my students fun and engaging opportunities for learning within the math classroom. Math can be the most challenging class a student can take during the year. With your help, I can provide students with a fun and engaging environment for learning.
