I teach a mild/moderate 5th/6th grade special education class in Salinas, CA. Many of the students come from low-income homes and don't have the economic/emotional support that they need. They have a wide range of learning and emotional challenges, as well as a variety of backgrounds. Being in my second year of teaching, I have yet to build up the classroom that my kids deserve. I'm hoping with the generosity of others, we can build up a classroom where learning, creativity, and growth can flourish!

About my class
