The supplies that were requested will enhance their enrichment learning that they would never be exposed to. The canvases will allow the student to create art projects that will be displayed around the school and express what they perceive around them in their own way. The paint will not only help with the student's creativity but will help with their everyday curriculum.The mosaic mercantile assortment and the craft menagerie will help with special hands on academic projects, such as learning their alphabet and new words. The advantage of tactile learning is the student gets a to do hands on project while they are learning at the same time. Hands on projects encourage the student to do things by themselves and have a sense of accomplishment. Learning from a book is not always the best fit for special needs children. The students need to feel and observe what they are doing.
