My students are from a low income community, with 100% falling below the poverty line. Most students come from homes without literate parents, and many don't speak English, making communication difficult. However, they are energetic and eager to learn. They are all unique and bring their own set of talents to the classroom. My students have more potential than they realize, and it's my goal to help them realize just what kind of citizens they can become.
