The digital microscope and specimen slides will help me as their science teacher pull them into the microscopic world. To be able to project microscopic images on my projector will help them not only in learning how to properly use a microscope but it will also build their excitement and interest. Currently, my 7th grade science students are learning about our body systems and how they work together to help us do our daily activities. We are exploring our cheek cells and comparing them to pre-made heart cells. We are also learning about how bacteria helps us with our digestion. The digital microscope will help me to project these images more clearly to my students.
