Imagine a classroom with 30 students on their iPad, all with the volume on. Many of my students are easily distracted and when we use our iPads it becomes very noisy in the classroom. i have many students who struggle staying engaged on their own assignment with so much noise around them. We have many programs that are amazing tools to use because it provides individualized instruction at their level. We are able to fill in gaps in their learning using specialized programs. Unfortunately, some of my most needy students are also some of the most distracted. Having headphones would assure they are listening to their iPad and not their neighbors.
