"Bringing Learning to Life with 3D Printing" is a project that will foster students’ skills in creativity, design thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving. A 3D printer will provide students the opportunity to combine technology with their creative abilities to produce a work of art. 3D printing technology is being used in the real world in various applications including medicine, aviation and spacecraft, engineering, science, and construction. Real world experiences, like 3D printing, can create unique learning and creative opportunities for students. This project will provide students a hands-on experience with this new technology and could very well spark an interest in a new field for many students.
