I would love to add more books to our classroom that truly reflect how diverse we are! I want each and every student to see themselves reflected in the characters in the books in our classroom and to be empowered and inspired by true stories they read from the books I carefully picked out. With your donation, we could add 18 fantastic read alouds to our classroom. These are stories that would help us all feel welcome at the beginning of each school year. These are stories that could inspire us to be brave and work hard. These are stories my current students and future students deserve to hear and read!
