Our STEM TEAM is involved in a number of different competitions, but none as captivating as flight. Few of our students have the opportunity to fly in a plane, let alone design and fly a plane. The Boeing Engineering Challenge and the GAMA Aviation Design Challenge both involve the design and construction of a viable aircraft. Students will use the technology to fully experience the computer-aided design software and flight simulation software to enhance the overall experience and catalyze interest into real world products. The 16 GB of RAM will let the software operate at optimal speed and the LED theater display will allow groups of students to ideate through collaboration, create prototypes for iterative testing, and share the process of learning with our community and stakeholders.
