The flexible seating (ottoman, stools, lap desks, and balance ball chairs) will make a huge difference in my classroom. I believe having a safe, aesthetically pleasing environment will give the students a better outlook. Students will want to be in school if they have what they need to be successful. This is modern equipment. Students no longer want a traditional classroom setting. They want exciting and different. Having organizational tools will teach the students responsibility. Students will have an organizational basket in their groups. The materials for the activity will be within reach of each student and save time. Time on task is very important. Academics is hard for any student, especially my students as they come from non-academic families.
