Our students come in lacking experience using common everyday technology. Due to continuous budget cuts, failure to pass overrides, and lack of funding, our district is severely in need of new technological resources. Also, Kindergarten has unfortunately been cut from going to the computer lab to further help those upper grade students meet their standards to pass state tests. Our entire Kindergarten team is asking for a set of tablets that students will be able to use in the classroom. They will be able to access reading and math apps during centers which will help them learn content standards. This will also allow them to have the opportunity to learn how to operate modern technology and prepare them to become future successful citizens in our society. Please help improve our school, district, and all the little growing lives that we interact with every day.
