My goal is to teach students about the art of pyrography, creating images on wood with the aid of a hot instrument. Students would be able to use their imagination, have fun and learn a new skill. Pyrography will allow my students to learn a skill they can continue practicing after graduation and make it a hobby they can benefit from. If this was something they wanted to pursue further it would be an avenue for a small business These tools are reusable and would become a staple in this art program. Many art rooms have drawings and paintings, but wood-burning will create curiosity and ignite the imagination!

About my class
