This year will be like none other--my students have been "home" since mid-March and many have not had consistent access to authentic literary texts. With eLearning, it will be difficult (and almost impossible) to provide students with enriching reading material. These resources, accessible online, are interesting and intriguing to students. They offer relevant information and modern topics to keep even the most distracted learner engaged. Additionally, these resources cover many science and social studies standards while offering many writing activities for the students. When returning to brick and mortar (face to face) students will be able to use these materials hands-on as well. They are colorful, vibrant texts that are appealing to all students!
