By donating to this project, students will be able to work more freely without distracting others. My students are active around the whole classroom and to make it more comfortable to work we would love to have some new carpets to soften the hard tile floors. I don't want my students to leave each day with stiff backs and hurting bottoms. To keep their minds engaged I have requested some fidget toys to meet students sensory needs. Alternative seating has been proven to help students stay focused. Wiggle seats, yoga balls and cushions will all help to keep students focused and engaged in their learning in different places around the classroom.
