By adding the mailbox system to our writing station, students will have the opportunity to put their writing skills to use and share the results with their friends. Students will write letters practicing their informal writing skills and receive letters as well. The addition of mailboxes will enhance the motivation of my students to write and their excitement when they see that they have mail. In addition to providing students a place to share their writing with one another, the mailboxes will allow students to easily access their completed work daily when graded work is returned in the same mailboxes. Our current system is messy and disorganized. With the new mailboxes, students can easily see when they have mail.
