Sight words are critical to reading not only because they are used so frequently, but also because many of them cannot easily be sounded out or illustrated. This is an area of critical need, where the students need more experiences with sight word and letter awareness. Students come with little knowledge about math skills as well. These sight word games, letter games, and math game will increase literacy and numeracy, and produce more proficient Kindergartners. These games and activities will be used in literacy and math centers, and during morning brain breaks. I want my students to leave Kindergarten reading, and counting and on the right path! Student growth will be evident with these resources!
