The students in my room come to learn with numerous weight on their shoulders from family issues, friendship struggles, and the high emotions that accompany struggles with learning. They need a space to safely and creatively release anything that has been building up in them to allow them to succeed in my room. The creative seating, sensory fidget toys, coloring pages will give them meaningful ways to express themselves and the fun timers will help self-regulate their session so they can rejoin the learning environment with a smooth transition. This will hopefully ensure that all students make the most of their learning time.
