In our school, we currently do not have our own classroom to meet in, therefore we meet in whatever room is available. Moving around for each class period makes resource availability scarce and difficult to obtain. Since we do not have our own designated meeting space, this project would allow my students to have access to technology to use in whatever location we may be meeting. The laptops and iPads are portable and can be easily carried from location to location. Having the printer set up in a central location will allow for students to print anything necessary for their projects and research. Children are the future of our world, and technology is a huge part of that future. The technology provided from this project will be used to better prepare my students for the future by allowing them to complete research projects, independent study activities, and other enrichment activities. The iPads provide a great resource for students to skype and communicate with individuals through video chat. There are so many amazing education apps that can be downloaded onto the iPad. These apps will help to expand my students' knowledge of different topics across curriculum.
