The 6 Chromebooks and wireless mice will be used daily in all subject areas to integrate technology throughout my curriculum. The students will be using the Chromebooks to work in collaborative groups to research a variety of research projects. Groups will communicate together using Google Gmail and Google Docs to document their learning process. Students will then create a presentation using Google Slide (PowerPoint) or Google Site (website) to present their findings to their peers . Students will also be able to use the Chromebooks to go on Code.org to have the opportunity to learn computer science. Computer science is a diverse field and is slowing becoming a required for diverse job opportunities, higher salaries, and job security. By providing the students will a background to computer science, will prepare these students for the future. Donations for this project will help get my students future ready with technology and prepare them with modern classroom technology to become better digital citizens and leaders.
