My students are all very enthusiastic about music class. I am constantly teaching them about all aspects of music from notation to composition to performance! The next step for them is to put their theoretical skills to practice on an instrument. I am looking to provide them with recorders so they have a solid, fundamental understanding of ensemble musicianship and introductory fingerings before they transition into a band program/pick a private instrument to study. I have hundreds of lessons I wish to teach my students regarding form, ensemble building, improvisation and so much more with their own personal recorders. Many of my students are not able to afford their own, so the opportunity for them to take their instruments home would be a complete game changer!
