I am the Science and Technology Teacher for Grades Three, Four, and Five at PS 38 in Staten Island. We are a quiet little school with around 400 students in grades Pre-K through 5. Starting last year, I have been driving the push towards our students becoming 21st Century Learners in the Digital Age. I incorporate technology into my teaching and learning whenever possible. I am proud to say that we are a Google school - where all students have Google accounts and where teachers are encouraged to utilize the Google Apps such as Classroom, Drive, Docs, Slides, Forms, etc. I feel students are more excited about learning when technology is incorporated and they connect better with how the skills they are learning connect with the real world. We are a Title 1 School, we have lots of English Language Learners, and military families.
