My students will use their new Hokki chairs to help calm their bodies, prevent accidents typical in traditional chairs, and most importantly, redirect their energy and focus back into their learning. With an unusually large number of boys in my class, I have noticed the energy level to be a constant in our classroom. Hokki chairs will be a part of our new flexible seating designed to help us learn in an environment that provides choice. The benefits of the Hokki chairs are numerous. Students with the need to move will be able to do so without disturbing others. They will be able to release energy without detracting from the learning of others or themselves. Hokki chairs are light, so they can be moved around the room as necessary. These chairs will be utilized by students daily for years to come. Your consideration of this project is much appreciated.
