In a school with limited funding, we try our best to use every resource available to us so our students have the same learning experiences as others. Many of our students have different abilities and learning styles that prevent them from learning in a conventional manner. We try and utilize different forms of technology and hands-on experiments to motivate and help them in the learning process. The simple machine kits will make learning fun. They will allow the students to construct their own simple machines including levers, pulleys, wheel and axles, inclined planes and wedges. As a result, the students will be able to understand in a way that they would not be able to using conventional paper/book learning. Since some of the students struggle with motor skills, they need multi-sensory, differentiated forms of learning to truly process and learn. The simple machine kit will offer the students a creative support and motivate our students in the classroom.
