Would you like to help realize childrens musical dreams? I am the music teacher at a school in NYC. Our children come from a broad socio-economic background. We have a music program that has flourished over the years. More and more students are joining the band. We are in need of instruments. Our instruments are old and some are beyond repair. In these tough economic times it's hard to expect the parents to absorb the cost of an instrument. Our children need the tools to succeed and our band program will thrive for years to come with these tools. In addition we have a chorus that performs at many different events through out the year. Some of these events come with a cost that we don't want to burden our parents with. Our school community works hard to give the children a well rounded experience in school and we would like to continue and build on this.
