I teach 24 students located in the upstate of South Carolina. These students come from a range of backgrounds and are academically at very different places. My fifth grade class consists of gifted students, ESOL students, and special education students. I teach at an International Baccalaureate school where we promote international mindedness. We want our students to be caring, respectful, and open-minded. We want our students to guide their own learning by asking questions and researching to find the answers to those questions. We also want to encourage our students to use technology.
