Becoming a strong leader requires more than simply possessing natural leadership qualities. Student athletes who possess these traits deserve the opportunity to be pushed and motivated in order to reach their full potential and become exceptional leaders on and off the field. These students exist in every school, including our low-income/high-poverty middle school, which is why we need your help in supporting T.E.A.M.! This is an exciting new journey for our students, as well as our school. The diversity of our student athletes adds to the uniqueness of T.E.A.M. Although this selection is diverse, each student is special because they have the capability to overcome adversity and excel as well-rounded, driven, and motivated leaders. Not only will we be teaching these students leadership qualities, but several past and present collegiate and professional athletes will be coming to speak with these students. T.E.A.M. needs your help! Your donations will allow our kids to be fed at every meeting and have the necessary supplies to take part in several projects. As our school is high poverty, many of our students are not adequately fed at home. We are in need of water and snacks, such as chips and granola bars, to give our students during meetings. Also, many students do not have everyday school supplies, such as pencils and paper. Therefore, our club is in need of steno notebooks, pencils, and pens for our student athletes to use during meetings, as well as markers and poster board for our club to use in promoting service projects around the school and community. Any donation would be appreciated as it could go toward bringing in quality speakers and taking the students on impactful trips. Thank you in advance for helping us groom the young leaders of tomorrow!
