Having tables instead of the normal desks will help keep the students engaged. It'll allow them to have more workspace and collaborate with one another easier. It'll also help the seating to be more flexible and comfortable for the students to do their best work! When students are able to collaborate and be comfortable then they will try harder and meet any expectation put in front of them. The tables will also allow the students to have a little more room to move around which will help relieve anxiety. Many of my students have trouble seating in desks all day, so the tables will help those students have a little more freedom and be more comfortable.
