The donations to this project will help to improve my students' understanding of the different characteristics and anatomy in Kingdom Animalia through a hands-on learning experience. Each of these animal anatomy models are specifically selected because the are part of greater student learning goals across three curriculum units. I bought a set of seven of the same brand of shark models with my own money this year, and they were a huge hit. I repackaged and numbered each model for reuse every year. I teach between 150-170 high school Zoology Honors students each year. I teach a wide range of reading levels and these models help teach many unit objectives in a way students can see and hold what they need to know.
