This project will integrate literacy with hands-on science. We need the materials to be real life scientists! Manipulating, observing, reading and writing in our Science Notebooks will help us reach this goal. We don't want to cheat the students and do the kits halfway. We need the live animals to observe the life cycles and environments fully. All materials enhance the activities and allow us to attain the full potential of the FOSS kits. All of these materials are suppose to be supplied by the teacher, in addition to what the FOSS kit contains. These materials will support all 3 FOSS kits that we use.
