These students are avid readers who thirst for more silent, independent reading time. When they are given this valuable reading time, they ask to find their own spaces to sit quietly around the room, usually on the hard floor, some on a few flat bean bags that have needed refilling for years. The students have requested that I get them new bean bags to make their reading spaces more comfortable. This project will contribute a few more new bean bags to our classroom as well as provide enough beans to fill up the old bean bags, taking students off of the hard floor.

About my class
