I am a first grade teacher at a public school in a busy city. Some of my students have been at risk of not achieving grade level standards or going to college. I have the job of making sure that my students succeed no matter what is believed by others and their backgrounds situations and/or issues may be. Therefore, I work very hard to make sure that we are teaching and learning in the 21st century with all of the materials and resources that are available to help them achieve their goals and become successful individuals.
