I am a reading AIS specialist in the 4th and 5th grades. This year I am seeing students that are reading significantly below their grade level. COVID has impacted their reading, thus their learning. Audio books would allow my students to remove the barrier of print and engage in meaningful conversations about on grade level texts with their peers. Audio books will boost their self esteem and their drive to learn and share that they learned. Please help me support and foster my students love of literature by funding my project.
