Students need two comfortable area rugs to sit around the classroom and read. Students in my classroom love reading and really enjoy their books. I would love to give them more spaces and choices of places that they can chose to work at. Currently we have a big area of cold tile which isn't an ideal spot for the students to read and work on. If they had an appealing area to read at, they would be more likely to increase the amount of time that they are working on their reading in the classroom. This will also help further their love of reading!
