I am asking for sensory enriching objects for my scholars. These supplies will help my students learn. The students seek out heavy pressure sensations. When they do not have these heavy pressure sensations, they seek these sensations out in inappropriate ways, such as picking at skin, laying on arms. Sometimes not having these experiences causes students distress, as a basic need is not being met. I am also asking for specialty seating to give students special tactile experiences. Finally, I would like to buy chewable pencil toppers to encourage my students to chew on appropriate objects (instead of dangerous objects like batteries).
